The game will be released on October 28th.

Madden NFL 17

A trailer was shown and they talked about the Madden NFL Championship Series events for professional gamers. Not many interesting news about the game were revealed – unless you’re into pro-gaming.

The game will be released on August 23rd.

Mass Effect Andromeda

This was one of the highlights of EA Play. The long awaited new entry in Mass Effect series will be a whole new adventure set around the theme of exploration. The creators said they allowed themselves more freedom and they let their imagination run wild. The game will be powered by Frostbite (!) so it will definitely look awesome. And you can see how awesome exactly by checking out some tidbits in the video below:

Unfortunately, there’s still no news as to the release date. Oh, well…

EA Play to Give

EA also announced its new charity program, called EA Play to Give. Gamers from all over the world will be able to contribute to charities by participating in different challenges. See the details here.

FIFA 17

First, FIFA 17 will come with a new mode called The Journey. We’ll be following a young footballer, Alex Hunter, through ups and downs in his career. So it’s basically a kind of a story mode. You can watch the trailer for The Journey below.

What else? EA promised that the series will undergo a complete innovation of gameplay and thanks to the implementation of four new elements: Physical Play Overhaul, Active Intelligence System, New Attacking Techniques and Set Piece Rewrite the players will gain more control over the game. Here’s the trailer:

EA Originals

Thanks to the success of Unravel, which was one of the biggest EA surprise during last year’s E3, EA created a new initiative, called EA Originals. It will be a label for indie games (or indie-ish games) and, as the EA reps tell, the creators of these games will get all the profit. The first EA Original will be a game called Fe, which will focus on our relationship with nature. Fe will be developed by a Swedish Studio Zoink. Here’s the trailer:

Unfortuately – there’s no release date yet.

Star Wars

As for Star Wars games, three were announced. The first one will be a sequel to Battlefront and it will be released next year. DICE is collaborating on this with Motive Studios and they’re promising they’ve listened to fans and are focusing on delivering even better product than the last one.

The next Star Wars game is being developed by Visceral Games, the creators of Dead Space series. It will be an action-adventure game featuring original narrative and new characters and it will come out n 2018.

The last announced Star Wars game is as of yet without a release date. All we know is that the creators of Titanfall Respawn Entertainment are working on it and it will be something completely new, set in an unusal Star Wars era.

Here’s a look on EA current and upcoming Star Wars games:

Battlefield 1

And last, but not least, Battlefield 1. EA showed a trailer and later a one-hour gameplay. Here’s the trailer:
