In the era of TV series revivals (we’ve had X-Files, Gilmore Girls, 24, Heroes and Dallas recently, just to name a few), there is one that I’m especially excited to see: Twin Peaks. It’s been 26 years since the series ended on that mesmerising cliffhanger (“Where’s Annie?” – I still shiver on a mere thought of these words). Although it seemed a perfect ending to the show, I think that deep inside almost every fan wanted to see what’s next. And we will. Twin Peaks is returning with 18 episodes on May 21st and today, Entertainment Weekly revealed first look photos of the cast.
It is certainly amazing to see those familiar faces after such a long time. But they won’t be the only ones we will see n the new series as a host of new actors are coming. We can be sure to see the likes of Naomi Watts, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Monica Bellucci, Laura Dern, Richard Chamberlain, Robert Knepper, Jeremy Davies and many, many more.
I’m looking forward to seeing the new episodes and while there’s still some time before May 21st, the photos made the wait a little bit easier.

I’m excited for the revival but first I will need to watch original series. I’ve seen them many years ago, therefore I vaguely remember them. And I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen all the episodes. 🙂
