The main cast of “Friends” will come together one more time and take part in a special episode to celebrate the sitcom. As Variety reports, the special will be unscripted. This means it will probably be more of a “sit together and reminisce” type of show than a proper sequel like we got with “Gillmore Girls” or “Twin Peaks”. And it makes sense. The series ended in what fans describe as a “perfect way”. I guess trying to tell what happened next would not be reasonable.
As a Warner Bros. production, “Friends”, together with the reunion special, will be available on the studio’s streaming service, HBO Max. The service launch date is set for May, so we won’t have to wait long. Colour us intrigued!
