Comixology Unlimited is a go

Yesterday Comixology announced its new functionality: Comixology Unlimited. It is already being dubbed a “Netflix for comic books” and is exactly this: it works as a subscription service and gives its readers unlimited access to digital comics, graphic novels and manga for $5.99 a month (after a 30-day free trial).

So, what’s the catch? Well, if you’re looking for the superhero titles from DC or Marvel, you might feel disappointed, as you won’t find them there. But with a selection of other exciting titles, like Hellboy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Walking Dead, Archie, Meobius or Attack on Titan, it really seems a nice option for both the hardcore comic-book geeks and the newbies. And it has a 30-day trial, so you should definitely give it a try and who knows, maybe you’ll get hooked. But there’s another catch, unfortunately – you have to be a U.S. resident, as for now, the service is only available in the USA. But they plan to expand, so who knows?

You can check Comixology Unlimited here. Let us know if you are willing to try it out in the comments section below or on Facebook and Twitter!
